Zane is 18 months old!!!

Wow! I cannot believe my sweet little boy is 18 months old.. Time is flying. I can't even begin to express how amazing it has been to be at home with him for the past 6 months. He amazes me every day.  It is so fun to watch him learn and grow daily. He makes mommy and daddy so proud.

Here's some 18 month info!!

Favorite foods- quesadillas, blueberries, pancakes, peas, cheese ravioli, smoothies, basically all fruit, chicken... Basically, Zane eats exactly what we eat for dinner and has since he turned one. He does really good at eating but will occasionally not eat well because of his teeth. He now will eat a cup of applesauce or yogurt all by himself with a spoon and hardly make a mess! He uses his fork too and does a great job of feeding himself. He will tell zach or I if he's done and will (attempt to) wipe his hands, face, and tray.

Favorite toys- all his tools (he will go grab his hammer/screw driver if he sees daddy or mommy using theirs), his fishing pole, play phone (papa is always calling him), basketball/hoop, books (favorite book- Nurse Mibbles and Easter Surprise), coloring, puzzles, and most of all- playing in mommys Tupperware drawer.

Loves to... Climb into his big boy bed and take naps, sit on mommys lap to read, watch Mickey Mouse clubhouse, dance to his music, pick out his shoes/slippers, take a bath, rough housing with daddy, help get dressed/undressed, put his dirty clothes in hamper, eat breakfast on the couch while watching cartoons, brush his teeth, play with the remotes, climb onto the couch, play with mommys phone (will hold it up and say "cheese!"), play at the park (or just outside in general).

Big boy milestones...
Sleeping in his toddler bed at nap time
Answering questions and listening (when he wants to)
Throws trash away in the trash can
Tells mommy when he has pooped
Wipes his mouth, face and tray after eating
Always wants to brush his teeth.. Goes to the bathroom sink and says "teeth".
Sits on his potty (but doesn't actually go in it yet).
He is doing a great job of using and repeating words. He basically tries to repeat everything we say. He doesn't like to say "thank you" but will sign it. It's the only thing he doesn't really say.
He knows all of his body parts (will say them and point to them)
He knows his animals and the sounds they make.
Will point to and name pictures in his picture book.

Not so fun things...
Doc says Zane's eye teeth are coming in. I've noticed he's been more irritable and fussy within the past week.
He doesn't like sharing.. But is getting better at it.
He doesn't like when he's playing with mommys keys and she takes them away to drive.. Haha
He loves his wubbanub (pacifier) even more recently due to teething..

He goes to bed around 8:30 every night and wakes up at about 7:15..
He takes a nap at 12:30 and will sleep for an average of 2 hours.. Sometimes 3 on a really sleepy day.
He weighs 22.5 lbs
He has 12 teeth and I can feel his top right eye tooth coming in.

Zane's doctor office got some fun new toys in the waiting room..

And here's our finished superhero room for the boys! It turned out even better than I imagined. We are done with everything and just waiting patiently for little Nash. He already has way too many newborn clothes... Oops! I just couldn't help myself.

I just love their room! It's so fun and definitely perfect for two little super brothers!

Zane has already started practicing being an amazing big bro. I recently gave him an old bear that I use to have as a child. He put it in the bean bag chair that is for Nash and was treating it like a baby. Then he put it in his high chair to feed him. It was the cutest thing ever. He also rocks car seats when he sees them and was very interested in a little baby boy he met the other week. He found his pacifier and gave it to him and rocked him. Nash is already one lucky little bro.

And here's our latest pic update on Nash

Isn't he the cutest little bump ever! Haha only 2 more months and he will be here.. Crazy!!
