MIA

So I've been a little MIa recently and falling behind with my posts... Sorry!! I've been busy taking care of my 19 month old and being prego.. Oh, and working on custom projects for people. Lots going on! We are officially less than one month away from our due date with Nash! Holy cow! Time has flown by, but I'm getting more and more anxious to meet our little guy.

Recently, we had an awesome diaper party for little Nash. Thanks to my best friend (and future mommy-to-be), Jess for throwing it for us. She even made Nash some custom onesies! She's so sweet!

We got a lot of diapers and wipes for the little man!

We also have been very busy getting concrete poured at our house. Needless to say, this project was stressful for me.. We definitely decided to do it the wrong week. It had been raining a lot and we had the diaper party planned to be at our house on Saturday. They started on Tuesday and things were not going as planned. Long story short, it got poured but our yard was completely destroyed due to it being extremely wet... AND it rained on Saturday (the day of the party) so we couldn't even use it anyway.. Oh well! Here are some before and after pics...
To the left of our Florida room.

The left at a different angle.

The right side of the Florida room.

The right side again. We have a patio set and wanted to be able to actually use it... We basically had no concrete at all.

 The process.. (Right side)

(Right side again) notice our "mud pit" aka our yard...

Right side poured.

Left side poured.

And now we begin to try and grow some grass..

Have to share a great find today.. I went to the dollar store (one of my favorite places) and took a chance on some nail polish I found. Now, this is risky.. Some are too watery and not the best quality. But I have to say, this kind I found turned out to be decent! It's only $1 and they had tons and tons of really pretty spring/summer colors (which is what I was in need of). I've only bought one color just to try it out, but I definitely plan on going back and getting more.

This is what it looks like..

And here's the end result..

Ok, so it's not perfect and it wasn't as smooth as the expensive stuff, but if you're like me you constantly change your nail color and mess them up anyway.. So I can't complain!

Ignore my turtle chair... I'm outside working on a tan while my son naps... Haha.

Anyway, try this stuff out! I promise, for $1 it's totally worth it!

Now, the real test is if it chips.. We will see.

That's all for now!

Redo4U- shop open!!!

After a lot of thought and consideration, I have finally decided to start selling custom and repurposed home decor and furniture. I have created my own little business, Redo4U.

I have always received a lot of compliments on our home and how it is decorated and the specific items I display. I make almost all of my home decor myself (or repurpose it in some way). Since my husband and I decided to make me a stay at home mom, I've been wanting to take this little adventure for a spin. Not only do I really enjoy my projects, I love being able to make them for other people. And to be honest, our house has no more room for any more decor items... So now I still get to craft but sell them instead.

Here are a few of my current items. I have been taking a lot of custom orders for signs. They can be for inside or outside. I can do any color/saying.

Love sign $35

Home is where the ❤️ is $45

Monogram sign $45

Birdhouse $30

Home sweet home sign $40

Repurposed old window $50

Repurposed old barn window frame $40

Home sweet home sign (was a custom order. She chose colors and size)

Welcome sign $20

Chalkboard $20

Our home sign $35

I am also in the process of creating some personalized wedding signs for newlyweds. These are great gifts to give your loved ones.. They are unique and personalized (which everyone loves!).

Plus, here is a great baby shower gift..

This is my own personal growth chart to record my little guys height. I LOVE this idea.. It can be taken with us to any house we live in. I will be making more of these as well.

I can also redo furniture... Here is a "before and after" example of a piece I did for myself.

I have had several people reach out to me to redo a piece of furniture for them that they already have. However, I can also search for specific pieces to redo.

Prices vary to size, materials used, and time invested.

I am also in the process of opening an etsy shop in order to ship items.. However, I can be found on Facebook at Redo4U. I can also be reached at ktbourelle@gmail.com for custom orders and questions.

Thank you all for your support!! ❤️❤️❤️
